Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a Line Cook 1 to ensure that all prep items are prepared and stored according to hotel specifications.

You will independently prepare all food items, work on the outlet hot/cold line, identify quality issues, and follow safety procedures while maintaining standards. The role requires 3 years of culinary experience and flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of culinary experience preferred
• Experience operating at least one culinary station
• Basic kitchen sanitation and safety knowledge
• Able to stand 8+ hours per day
• Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate weight

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares all food items as directed by supervisor
• Work on outlet hot/cold line executing menu items in the specified timeline
• Identify and inspect all food products for quality
• Follow storage procedures when handling walk-in and food returns
• Safely use all culinary equipment
• Maintain Health Department and EcoSure standards at all times
• Attend department meetings and training
• Complete other duties assigned by management
