Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a Line Cook 1 to join our culinary team. You will prepare all items on the line according to supervisor directions and hotel standards, ensuring quality and timely execution for each meal period.

The role requires strong knife skills, food preparation, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience preferred.
• Basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation and safety are required.
• Able to stand 8+ hours per day and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Independently prepares all food items as directed by supervisor and to company specifications.
• Ability to work on an outlet hot/cold line executing menu items within the timelines for each meal period.
• Identify and inspect all food products for quality.
• Follow storage procedures for food from walk-in and back.
• Safely use culinary equipment and maintain cleanliness.
