Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Florida is seeking a Line Cook 1 to prep and execute menu items to the highest standards in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen. This role requires attention to detail, knife skills, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

You will work on an outlet hot/cold line, monitor quality, and support senior chefs while maintaining efficiency, teamwork, and guest satisfaction in a luxury resort setting.

Competenze

• 3 years of culinary experience preferred; well-versed in operation of at least one culinary station.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and safety.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Mansioni

• Independently prepares all food items as directed by supervisor and to company specifications.
• Ability to work on an outlet hot/cold line executing menu items in the specified timeline for each meal period.
• Identify and inspect all food products for quality.
• Follow storage procedures when handling food from walk-in and returning to walk-in.
• Safely use culinary equipment and maintain cleanliness to Health Department standards.
• Attend department meetings and trainings; complete other duties as assigned by management.
