San Diego Marriott Del Mar is seeking a Line Cook to deliver high-quality dining experiences by preparing food efficiently and consistently. You will ensure all dishes—from à la carte to buffets and banquets—meet the highest standards while keeping a clean and safe work environment.

In this role, you open the kitchen each morning, organize the station, prep for service, and complete duties to ensure timely, accurate, and quality meals.

Qualifications

• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow recipes and standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Open the kitchen each morning, organize the station and cook for service.
• Prepare items for lunch service including sauces, soups, and entrées.
• Rearrange the line and steam table for smooth service.
• Cook orders as received, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Learn menus, recipes, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and comply with health regulations.
