Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Montgomery, AL is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You will focus on speed, accuracy, and consistency to deliver high-quality plates while maintaining a clean, safe station.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours or more a day
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 35 pounds
• Guest-oriented mindset and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
