Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook for our Back of House team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You’ll focus on consistent plating, timely food production, and strict adherence to safety standards while supporting teammates during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to maintain a guest‑oriented mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
