Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You will focus on consistent plating, fast service, and maintaining quality for every dish that leaves the kitchen.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven setting with strong emphasis on timing, safety, and guest satisfaction. Training and development are emphasized as part of growing with our expanding brand.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality required.
• Must be 18 or older for BOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
