Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Line Cook to support our busy kitchen and deliver high‑quality dishes. You will set up stations, read recipes, assist chefs, maintain sanitation, and communicate with teammates to ensure smooth service.

The position offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and dining discounts for you and up to 5 guests. Applicants should have a High School Diploma, be eligible to work in the United States, and at least two years in a kitchen

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age.
• Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
• Proper food storage knowledge.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Guest relations.
• Sanitation and safety.
• Full service kitchen operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of the kitchen.
• Read, measure and execute recipes.
• Read and execute computer tickets for service.
• Apply knife skills required for service and preparation; maintain menu knowledge and presentation.
• Assist Chefs as needed in execution of service.
• Communicate with management, chefs and service staff to fulfill requests.
• Move furniture as directed by management.
• Comply with all safety and health procedures.
• Maintain company safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure complete and proper check out procedures.
• Clean spills and dispose of trash properly.
• Inform management of any complaint or incident.
• Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/closing duties are completed.
• Record equipment failure or safety hazards and report them.
