Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is hiring a Line Cook to set up stations, prep and cook menu items in a busy, full-service kitchen in California. You will work with a team to ensure quality and speed during peak hours.

Candidates should have at least two years in a kitchen, strong knife skills, knowledge of safety and sanitation, and the ability to read tickets and follow recipes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related experience in a kitchen
• Strong knife skills and food preparation ability
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to read, measure and execute recipes
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of the kitchen
• Read, measure and execute recipes
• Read and execute computer tickets for service
• Apply knife skills and maintain plate presentation
• Assist Chefs in execution of service
• Communicate with management to address issues
• Move furniture and equipment as directed by management
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure proper check-out procedures
• Record and report equipment failures or hazards
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
