Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is hiring aLine Cook to set up and stock stations, prepare food for service, and work with the kitchen team to deliver quality dishes. You must have solid kitchen knowledge, efficient knife skills, and the ability to read and execute tickets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least two years of related experience, compliance with safety standards, and good English communication. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age.
• Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
• Proper food storage knowledge.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Guest relations.
• Sanitation and safety.
• Full service kitchen operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of the kitchen.
• Read, measure and execute recipes.
• Read and execute computer tickets for service.
• Apply knife skills required for service and preparation; maintain menu knowledge and presentation detail.
• Assist Chefs as needed in execution of service.
• Communicate with management, chefs and service staff to fulfill guest needs.
• Move furniture as directed by management.
• Comply with safety and health procedures.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure proper checkout procedures.
• Clean spills and manage trash properly.
• Inform management of complaints or incidents.
• Ensure duties across opening/closing are completed.
• Report equipment hazards to management.
