Job summary

Arcadia in Boston seeks a Director, Business Development - Life Sciences to build and close enterprise relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies within an assigned territory.

This is an end-to-end selling role where you will prospect, lead discovery conversations, scope and price solutions, negotiate contracts, and partner with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise pharma/biotech sales with quota responsibility.
• Experience selling data- and analytics-driven solutions (RWD/RWE).
• Deep knowledge of Life Sciences decision processes (HEOR, Medical Affairs).
• Proven ability to engage scientific buyers (PhDs, MDs) with credibility.
• Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a qualified Life Sciences pipeline across target accounts.
• Lead discovery conversations across development, HEOR, market access, and analytics.
• Translate client needs into well-scoped data and analytics solutions.
• Structure enterprise data licensing and pricing negotiations; manage terms and close deals.
• Collaborate with product, delivery, legal, and finance to ensure renewals and expansion.
