Job summary

CellBio Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within the life sciences market. You will manage complex sales cycles across academia, biotech, pharma, and CROs, building long-term customer relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to clients in the assigned territory.

Based remotely in the Boston area with travel across the territory and occasional trips to Newark, CA headquarters, you will work with internal teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field.
• 3–5+ years of successful sales experience in life sciences or related industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and business development goals.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and account management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with scientific and technical audiences.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve regional sales targets in line with the annual sales plan.
• Identify and manage customer relationships within the territory.
• Drive new business through lead generation, prospecting, networking, and outreach.
• Manage complex opportunities from contact through negotiation and close.
• Prepare proposals with operations and internal teams.
• Develop strategic account plans to expand existing business.
