Job summary

The Life Sales Advisor at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance serves as the subject matter expert for the Life product portfolio, training and supporting agents in life insurance, annuities, and advanced sales strategies across the Northern IN region.

This role focuses on helping agents prepare cases, conducting joint appointments, and promoting a repeatable sales process to achieve premium growth while delivering strong training and support through agency meetings and HO training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; insurance designation preferred.
• 3–5 years of Life Insurance experience and a valid license.
• Ability to train adult learners and develop effective programs.
• Advanced knowledge of life-insurance products and technology.
• Ability to learn company Life products quickly.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a key resource about the company’s Life insurance products currently being sold and in force policies.
• Communicates and demonstrates the company’s competitive advantage.
• Trains agents in the sales process and Life Product portfolio at agency meetings and HO training.
• Conducts joint calls with agents, demonstrating our living benefits approach.
• Solves problems with clients and agents related to our in-force life business.
• Performs appointments and training as a Life Insurance Educator.
