Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a licensing coordinator to manage renewal and licensing applications, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and coordinate producer appointments. The role supports the licensing team and reports to the Senior Manager of Agency Field Support Distribution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory insurance licensing processes.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of querying, analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Processes producer new and renewal licensing applications on behalf of the producer for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitors licensing mailbox for communication requiring responses or follow-up and maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains licensing database and references updates needed to maintain licensing information.
• Processes company appointments into the system and confirms compliance requirements.
• Reviews regulatory changes and determines impact, communicating with the licensing team.
• Orders and reviews reports to ensure procedures are followed in licensing activities.
• Monitors and communicates license renewal reminders and ensures payments are timely.
