Job summary

American Family Insurance seeks a detail‑oriented Licensing Specialist to manage producer licenses, renewals and appointments. You will ensure compliance with state and federal rules while maintaining licensing records and communicating status to internal teams.

The hybrid role requires proximity to one of our office locations and regular in‑office days. Candidates should have strong knowledge of licensing processes and proficiency with Excel, Word and Access to drive accurate, timely licensing

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-driven solutions or service.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Access.
• Strong knowledge of licensing processes.
• Experience with querying and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Process producer licensing applications for accuracy and renewal maintenance.
• Monitor licensing mailbox and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Maintain licensing database and reference updates.
• Process company appointments and ensure state-specific requirements.
• Review legislation and regulations and advise on impacts.
• Order and review reports to ensure compliant licensing activities.
• Monitor renewal reminders and ensure timely invoice payments.
