Cambrian Homecare, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a licensed Vocational Nurse to provide 1:1 respite care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The role requires a CA LVN license, CPR, and current health checks.

You will administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with gastric tubes and occasional trach care, document visits, and support families. The position offers hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay.

Qualificações

• Active CA LVN License.
• CPR certification.
• TB test current or within prior 6 months.
• Current TB test, current physical, CPR card, and First Aid (within 30 days of hire).
• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Clear criminal background.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• GastronomyTube (g-tube) care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medication.
• Trach care (rare; no prior experience required).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin as ordered.
• Seizure management and safety monitoring.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Be supportive to clients and their family members.
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families ofa child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g‑tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Clear criminal background
