Cambrian Homecare, Inc. is hiring for a licensed vocational nurse to provide one-on-one respite care for clients with developmental disabilities in a home setting. The role includes g-tube care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring, with documentation after each visit.

On-site care with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. Candidates must have a CA LVN license, CPR certification, and a current TB test and physical within the last 6 months, plus a clean background check.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN License.
• CPR certification required.
• Current TB test and physical within 6 months.
• Clear criminal background.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• GastronomyTube (g-tube) care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medication.
• Trach care (rare) and blood sugar monitoring with insulin if ordered.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Support clients and family members; monitor and report changes in care.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families ofa child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g‑tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Clear criminal background
