Cambrian Homecare in Norwalk, CA is seeking an LVN-licensed caregiver to provide 1:1 respite care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include g-tube care, vital signs, and medication administration in a supportive, 24/7 team environment.

Qualified candidates hold an active California LVN license, CPR certification, and have at least 1 year of experience. TB testing and a current physical are required; background checks will be performed.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license and CPR certification.
• Physical within the last 6 months and TB test.
• Current TB test, current physical, valid CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Clear criminal background.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for children or adults with developmental disabilities.
• GastronomyTube (g-tube) care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medications.
• Trach care (rare; no prior experience required).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin as ordered.
• Seizure management and safety during episodes.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families ofa child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g-tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Clear criminal background
