Cambrian Homecare in Lakewood, CA seeks an LVN-licensed caregiver to provide one-on-one respite care for clients with developmental disabilities. You will manage medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with g-tube and insulin needs in a home setting.

The role requires relevant home care experience, active CA LVN license, CPR and First Aid; TB/physical health clearances are required within 30 days of hire. Competitive hourly pay and supportive team available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in home care.
• Active CA LVN License required.
• CPR certification required.
• Physical within the last 6 months and TB test current.
• Current TB test, current physical, CPR card and First Aid valid within 30 days of hire.
• Clear criminal background.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• GastronomyTube (g-tube) care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medication.
• Trach care (very rarely; experience not required).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injections.
• Seizure management and safety monitoring.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Be supportive to clients and their families.
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities
