Cambrian Homecare, Inc. is seeking qualified LVN professionals in California to provide one‑to‑one respite care for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Carson area. The role includes essential nursing duties, care planning, and family support.

Responsibilities include vital signs, G-tube and insulin administration, and medication delivery while maintaining documentation and safety protocols. New grads welcome with paid shadowing opportunities and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Active CA LVN license and medical clearances must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• G-tube care and feeding as needed.
• Take vital signs and administer medications.
• Trach care when necessary; training provided if not experienced.
• Monitor blood glucose and administer insulin as ordered.
• Document visits in nursing notes and report changes.

Pay rate: $30.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g-tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience
• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• New grads welcome – can shadow an experienced nurse to gain confidence prior to taking a case on their own (paid)
• Clear criminal background
