Job summary

Cambrian Homecare in Los Angeles is seeking licensed LVN professionals to provide one-on-one respite care for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will perform medical duties including feeding, medication administration, vital signs, and routine documentation during visits.

Ideal candidates hold an active CA LVN license, CPR and First Aid, with a current TB test and physical, plus at least one year of experience. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and training support.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• TB test and physical within 6 months, TB test current, CPR and First Aid valid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for children/adults with developmental disabilities.
• G-tube care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medication.
• Trach care (rarely, no prior experience required).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin.
• Seizure management and safety monitoring.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Support clients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in client care.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families ofa child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g-tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Clear criminal background
