Cambrian Homecare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide 1:1 respite care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. You will handle g-tube care, vital signs, insulin administration, and seizure safety. Documentation and family support are essential to every visit.

This role requires an active CA LVN license, CPR certification, current TB test, and a minimum of one year of experience. We offer flexible scheduling, PPE, and continuous support from a 24/7 team.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license and CPR certification required.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Clear criminal background check and TB test current.
• Physically able to perform 1:1 patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• G-tube care and feeding when needed.
• Take vital signs and administer medication as ordered.
• Trach care if applicable; no prior experience required.
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin as ordered.
• Seizure management and safety oversight.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Support clients and their families throughout care.
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior.

Pay rate: $30.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families ofa child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g-tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be asupportto clients andtheir familymembers
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/orbehavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)
• Must have one year of experience
• Clear criminal background
