Job summary

Cambrian Homecare is hiring to provide one-on-one skilled care for children and adults with developmental disabilities in California. The role requires a CA LVN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of home care experience. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in home care.
• Active CA LVN license.
• CPR certification.
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test.
• Current TB test, current physical, valid CPR card and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• Clear criminal background.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
• Gastrostomy tube care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medication.
• Trach care (very rarely, not required to have experience).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injections.
• Seizure management and safety monitoring.
• Document on nursing notes after each visit.
• Support clients and their family members.
• Monitor and report changes in client care and behavior.

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities
