Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Omaha seeks licensed Professional Engineers to blend business development with technical review. You’ll maintain client relationships while overseeing testing programs, reviewing reports, and sealing geotechnical letters.

The role requires travel to client offices and jobsites; base salary is $115,000–$150,000 with revenue sharing based on the books you bring, plus a strong support team in Sugar Land.

Qualifications

• Active PE license in the posting state or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to bring in work or credible plan to do so; comfortable pricing and negotiating.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on the projects you win; review field and lab data, seal reports and letters.
• Direct technicians and inspectors on projects; coordinate with the lab on testing schedules and reports.
• Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events.
