Job summary

Warby Parker in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team and ensure exceptional customer experiences with expert product knowledge. You will mentor opticians and retail advisors while driving store performance in a fast-paced environment.

As a keyholder, you will open/close the store, maintain inventory, and uphold Warby Parker standards, fostering a positive, growth-minded culture that supports development of licensed professionals and apprentices.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified with supervision experience.
• Experience leading a team of opticians and retail staff.
• Strong customer service and eyewear product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs with accurate measurements and fittings.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options clearly.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Lead store operations as a keyholder and mentor Optical team.
• Set up store for daily success and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee inventory databases and general store systems.
