Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communication; able to explain prescription terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented, able to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Open/close store as a keyholder and maintain operations.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store.
