Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead the in-house optical team and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will be a keyholder, open/close the store, and mentor the optical staff while maintaining operations and standards.

The ideal candidate brings an active dispensing optician license (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years of supervisory experience, a passion for eyewear, and a collaborative, energetic approach to a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with license in applicable states; ABO certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience including supervisor responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to explain prescription terminology to customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor optical team, including apprentice program participants.
• Open and close the store as a keyholder and maintain daily operations.
• Foster a positive, productive team environment and deliver great service.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet eyewear needs on the floor.
• Maintain inventory databases and store systems.
