Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team in providing exceptional customer service while helping customers select, fit, and explain eyewear. You will take measurements, ensure accurate fitting, and communicate prescription terminology clearly.

You will work with the team to establish best practices and represent Warby Parker’s values and mission in interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician where required by state licensing laws.
• ABO certification preferred for non-licensing states.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle
• Form best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent the brand to educate others and share Warby Parker values
