Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optician to join our in-house optical team and help people see clearly with expert service. You will measure, fit, and adjust eyewear while explaining prescription terminology to customers, ensuring every pair meets our high standards.

You'll collaborate with a motivated team, stay adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to brand education and customer satisfaction across our stores.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician as applicable.
• Clear, effective communicator able to explain technical terms to customers.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check that eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Form best practices for sales and customer service with the team.
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values and mission.
