Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team in an exciting, fast-paced setting. You will help customers see by taking measurements, fitting eyewear, and ensuring precision that meets our high standards.

You will explain prescription details and product options, collaborate with teammates to share best practices, and reinforce Warby Parker’s values while providing exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Clear, effective and professional communicator.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to establish best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Represent the brand to educate others about Warby Parker values and mission.
