Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our team and help customers see with confidence. You will become an expert in our brand and glasses, taking measurements, fitting eyewear, and ensuring finishes meet our optical standards.

You’ll explain prescriptions and products to customers, collaborate with teammates, and promote exceptional service and education about our values and mission.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license in applicable states or ABO certification in non-licensing states.
• Strong knowledge of eyewear frames, lenses, and fit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and measurements with accuracy.
• Record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear to ensure proper function.
• Verify eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service across stores.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to best-practice sales and service methods for the organization.
• Represent Warby Parker values and mission to educate customers.
