Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help people see. You’ll become an expert in our brand and glasses, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished pieces meet our standards while delivering exceptional service.

You’ll explain prescription terminology to customers, collaborate with teammates to establish best practices, and help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face shape, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to explain prescription terminology clearly

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to share best practices for sales and service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit and lifestyle
• Represent our brand and educate customers about Warby Parker values
