Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will become an expert on our glasses, assist customers with eyewear needs, take precise measurements, and ensure the final product meets our optical standards.

You will explain prescription terminology clearly, help customers select frames and lenses based on prescriptions and lifestyle, and work with teammates to implement best practices. The role supports a dynamic, customer‑focused store environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in applicable states.
• A strong passion for eyewear and retail industries.
• Able to clearly explain prescription terminology to customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with team to establish best practices for sales and service.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate customers about values and mission.
