Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help people see. You will become an expert in our brand and glasses, delivering exceptional customer service, taking measurements, and ensuring eyewear meets standards.

You’ll collaborate with a motivated team, explain prescription terms to customers, and help select frames and lenses based on needs and lifestyle. This role emphasizes learning and growth within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Clear, effective, and professional communicator.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to share best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, and lifestyle.
• Represent the brand to educate others about Warby Parker values and mission.
