Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will help customers meet eyewear needs, take precise measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure each piece meets our standards and customer requests.

You will explain prescriptions and product options, assist with frame and lens selection, and collaborate with teammates to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements; adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent the brand to educate others about values and mission.
