Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, helping customers see clearly and feel confident about their glasses.

You’ll take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision, explain prescription terminology, and ensure finished eyewear meets our optical standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective, professional communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.
• Not on LEIE (List of Excluded Individuals/Entities).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with flawless accuracy
• Check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with your team to form best practices for sales and customer service
• Represent our brand to help educate others and get them excited about our values and mission
