Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, delivering exceptional customer service and helping people see clearly. You’ll take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure our eyewear meets our optical standards while explaining prescription terminology.

You’ll collaborate with a motivated team, educate customers, and represent our brand and values. A licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified license is required; strong communication, attention to detail, and

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license, or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain technical terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player who adapts in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to continually learn and improve.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Form best practices for sales and customer service with the team.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate others about our values and mission.
