Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help people see with confidence. You’ll take measurements, fit eyewear, verify optical standards, and explain prescription terminology to customers.

Qualifications

Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical terms clearly.
Detail-oriented with excellent customer service focus.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
Collaborate with team to maintain exceptional service standards.
Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
Contribute to best practices for sales and service across the organization.
Represent the Warby Parker brand and uphold its values.
