Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You’ll help customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, and ensure frames meet quality standards. You’ll explain prescriptions and frame options, provide exceptional service, and collaborate with teammates to promote Warby Parker values.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective, and professional communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy and check finished eyewear against standards.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to share best practices and educate others about Warby Parker values.
