Warby Parker is seeking skilled opticians to join our in-house optical team, helping customers see with confidence and style. You will become an expert on our glasses, assist with fittings, explain prescriptions, and uphold our standards of service.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, deliver exceptional customer care, and participate in benefits that support growth and learning within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states; ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Strong passion for eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communication—able to simplify technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Energetic, positive team player able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Open-minded learner who takes work seriously, not self-important.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to provide exceptional service.
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Help establish best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker's values and mission.
