Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, helping customers see with expert fitting and accurate measurements. You’ll learn our brand deeply and guide clients through frames and lenses with confidence.

You’ll explain prescription terminology, ensure eyewear meets our standards, and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional service and brand education.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style and lifestyle.
• Share best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate customers about our values and mission.
