Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, delivering exceptional customer service and helping customers see with confidence. You’ll become an expert in our glasses, take precise measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet both standards and customer expectations.

You’ll explain prescriptions, collaborate with teammates, and help customers select frames and lenses that suit their prescription, face shape, and lifestyle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Ability to explain prescription terminology clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with precision.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Share best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
