Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled Optician to join our in-house optical team in a role focused on helping customers see clearly and confidently. You will become an expert in our glasses, assist customers with measurements and fittings, and explain prescription terminology to ensure a superior experience.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, uphold brand standards, and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional eyewear and service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states.
• ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Clear, effective communicator able to explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented and a proactive team player.
• Not on LEIE list of excluded individuals/entities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and explanations of prescriptions.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy.
• Verify eyewear meets brand and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to promote best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, style, and lifestyle.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate customers about our values and mission.
