Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will become an expert in our brand and glasses, helping customers see with confidence and comfort.

You will deliver exceptional service, take precise measurements, fit eyewear, and explain prescriptions in clear terms. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and representing our values and mission in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Be a licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can break down technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and continually learning; takes work seriously, not self.
• Not on LEIE list.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Work with the team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription needs, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with the team to form best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand to educate others and share our values and mission.
