Qualifications

• State licensure required to practice as an optician.
• High school diploma or GED minimum; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Experience in optical dispensing and HIPAA familiarity.
• PC skills including MS Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories tailored to prescription and lifestyle.
• Measure, fit frames, dispense lenses, and ensure eye care quality and patient satisfaction.
• Explain insurance coverage, warranties, and product options clearly.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE systems and manage order status.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clean, organized work area.
