Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and patient care. You will assist patients with frame selection, ensure proper fit, and interpret prescriptions with attention to detail.

You’ll work closely with technicians and doctors, inputting data into the EHR/ALE systems and delivering an exceptional customer experience while guiding patients through insurance and warranty options.

Qualifications

• State licensure as an optician in good standing.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience dispensing eyewear and understanding prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Interpret and input prescriptions into EHR/ALE systems.
• Dispense glasses with proper fit and adjustments; educate on care and warranty.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, coatings, and insurance coverage.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve order issues promptly.
