Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit prescriptions, lifestyle, and personal style, ensuring proper frame fit and accurate dispensing.

Role requires state licensure, English communication, and familiarity with EHR systems; ABO/NCLE preferred. The position offers full-time hours, on-site work, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as an Optician.
• High school diploma or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred.
• Experience in optical dispensing and HIPAA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing with accuracy.
• Educate patients on care, warranty, and insurance benefits.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into EHR/ALE systems.
• Maintain organization of frames and work area; provide excellent customer service.
