AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our team in Hopkinton, MA. You will provide expert eyewear solutions, proper measurements, and accurate lens dispensing to ensure patient satisfaction and loyalty.

You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, interpret prescriptions from Optometrists, and coordinate with technicians and managers to deliver timely, high-quality eyewear with outstanding service. ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• State licensure is required for practice.
• High School or GED qualification is required.
• ABO/NCLE is preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience is required.
• HIPAA experience is preferred.
• PC skills include MS Office and basic Windows.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant demeanor and sales experience preferred.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are necessary.

Responsabilités

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience with customized eyewear recommendations.
• Assist patients in frame, lens type, and lens treatments based on prescriptions and lifestyle.
• Stay current on products, procedures, rebates, and lens/frame options.
• Enter prescription data into EHR and ALE systems; document appropriately.
• Follow up on orders and update patients on status or delays.
• Discourage issues and escalate to management as needed.
