Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician for our Swampscott, MA location. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear, ensure proper frame fit and precise lens dispensing, and deliver outstanding customer service.

As part of a collaborative team, you will interpret prescriptions, enter data into the EHR/ALE system, coordinate with technicians, and stay current on products, lens types, and insurance benefits to drive patient satisfaction and repeat visits.

Qualifications

• State Licensure to practice as an optician.
• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear fitting prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing with accuracy.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR and ALE systems.
• Provide exceptional patient service and educate on eyewear care and insurance.
• Coordinate with technicians and managers on orders and status.
