AEG Vision is hiring a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will help patients select frames and lenses that fit prescriptions, lifestyle, and style while ensuring proper fit and accurate dispensing.

You will interpret prescriptions, enter data into the EHR, and explain insurance coverage. The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as an optical professional.
• High School diploma or GED; additional ABO/NCLE preferred.
• Optical dispensing experience is required; HIPAA knowledge a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide eyewear solutions and excellent patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses and lens treatments.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE accurately.
• Explain insurance benefits, copays and coverage options to patients.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and frame displays.
• Coordinate with technicians and doctors to manage orders and status.
